What is the best way to protect against spyware, malware, and adware? We already have Norton Securit

Our computer has been infected by a, or several, trojan type viruses. We already have Norton Internet Security with Norton Antivirus and Antispam and it is completely updated as of last night. We keep getting balloons to download various protection programs, but I am not sure what route is best. I need to know what additional programs would be best to fully protect our computer. Can anyone recommend the best programs to download to help clean up our viruses and protect future ones?

Well, Norton is not just good enough. (not to say good for nothing)

I have Spybot and SpywareBlaster (both free and easy to download) very efficient against spyware and adware and

AVAST as antivirus (again free, easy to download and very efficient)

To clean my PC I use CCleaner (www.ccleaner.com) : It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history
