Went to McAfee.com as suggested but found no way to download AntiSpam program without paying for the individual program. Thought updates were free. I also renewed Internet Security 7.0 for another year up to 8/2007.

Live update will not include virus definitions; I have to manually load them in. Symantec keeps telling me to check my clock. My clock is correct. I am also getting this: res://C:\ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\symant... I have not clue what this means but it will not let me allow me to open the Norton Spam in live update. I need help using not so technical terms as I am computer savvy. I have sent Symantec over 15 emails only to get the same response: "check my clock" and use auto tools. Auto tools will not work. I think it's because I updated Internet Explorer. They will not allow me to call without paying.

Have you tried reinstalling the software?
And as for Norton customer service, try speaking to a manager there and express your unhappiness, and hopefully they will resolve it for u for free.
you should delete all of your tempoary internet files,and dfrag your hard drive,then try.if this does not work then unistall the product fully and try reinstalling it again
The Clock may show the correct time, but is the Date and Year correct.
Do this:
Double click on the Time in your Task Bar (lower right on the screen)
Verify that both the Year and Date are correct.
sounds to me that your subscription has run out. Has it? If not simply uninstall Norton, then reinstall. This should solve your problem.

Firefox has an extension now that can even block google adsense. This worries me because the only revenue I get to my site eliteskills.com is from google adsense. Using it would force me to charge a membership fee or take $150 a month out of my own pocket.
It's nice as a user, it's bad as the webmaster.
It's unfotunate, because ad revenue is obviously what makes a lot of small beneficial sites possible. I don't mind legitimate adds only malicious popups and scripts. I think there will be a backlash against some of the ad removing technology as it also blocks legitaimate content and requires technical saavy to tweakit. A good example is that without a serious tweaking effort, the Yahoo maps beta would not work with Noron Internet security. if the internet is to survive and be useful, we will have to come up with a bettery solution.
Google is the very best search engine of the planet, by now... but If you earn money through google adsense, come on dude pay the thing!, if not ...use a regular search engine as yahoo as well...

I haven't used Norton in years, and they didn't have an antispam blocker when I did use them. However, sending email to a spam blocker means that sender is blocked from sending any more mail to you until you remove them from the blocked list.
I have no idea what you mean. Do you mean firewall? This will block all programs trying to access your computer unless you allow it. Spam is blocked at the reception site such as Outlook Express or hotmail, and you should check to be sure no important messages have been blocked.
Go to spam folder then select the messages that are wrongly there and click Not Spam

Depends what program you are using. Does it have a button that allows you to say this is NOT SPAM? Maybe you need to WHITELIST your contacts so those you want to get mail from don't end up in your spam folder. I don't have a problem with Yahoo and Gmail.

I use Trend Micro too. Was recommended to me by Dell, and I have a Dell computer also. Another one is Panda, which I had first with my first computer. I also heard AVG is good too.
