i have my computer running slow and i have 224mb of ram i know it is very low but i dont have the time to buy more ram i am but saveing to but an gig of ram right now but the things i use is ca intenret suite 2007 (antispam antivirus antispyware and firewall). when i go to disk cleanup thier is nothing to clean up i also used disk defragment but it kinda help but not that much and i dont want to take away my ca internet suite i had buyed i for around 70$ someone who tells me and nice answer will be rewarded 10 points the person who says "bu an mac" or buy more ram" will not get even a dust

Press ctrl+shift+esc when it gets slow and click on the CPU button so that it shows which programs are using the most memory. If there are any images that are under either your user name or owner then you can end the ones that you don't need at the moment, but if it is LOCAL SERVICE or SYSTEM then do not touch them. Another thing that you can do so that you don't have to do this every time is enter msconfig in the run bar. Go to startup and uncheck any programs that you don't need to have automatically start up when you turn the computer on. This will also help your computer boot up faster.

Try to defragment on your hard drives; you can do this by going to My Computer, Right Click your drive (Local Disk c, d鈥?, go to Properties, then Click the Tab Tools, and Click Defragment Now鈥?which brings you a window and Click Defrgment. You can do it to all your drives. That will rearrange it self and give your computer more speed.
