I need to protect my LAN when i get conected to internet (Mail Server, Http Server, Ftp Server, etc).

Not include TrendMicro.

McAfee has the best Hueristic scanner.
How can anyone tell you what will be your best choice, if you are the one whos going to buy!!!???.

Anyways, Symantec is one of the best, probably the best anti-virus software and if you shell out some extra money, you can buy the antivirus with added features like antispam, firewall, and e-mail and internet protection ect..

Now, if you are worried about the cost of it, then let me tell you friend, symantec is expensive than any other McAfee or other staples (the company staples has a partnership with an anti-virus company, I don't have the name with me) software programs.

So, the best choice by performance, quality, relaiablity, customer service and protection is Symantec. Most of the governmental organization and private companies use the coporate version of Symantec, if you work for a company, hospital, you can as well use the work antivirus program at your home computer, it is completely legitimate.

Of course, you should not be connecting your server directly to the internet anyways, but these tools are all available free of charge.
